Hexie Flower Brooches

Eyecatching, hexagon shaped padded brooches. A rosette of tiny hexagons is stitched by hand in tiny, English Paper Pieced Patchwork and appliqued to a contrasting background.  The brooches measure 5cm in diameter (2.5 cm sides) and are neatly edged with blanket stitch.

Materials
Recycled plastic hexagon, die cut from spent gift cards.
Donated and recycled fabrics (Scraps used as stuffing)
