Stitch a Postcard Kit

With this kit you'll learn how to use simple stitches to recreate your handwriting as beautifully embroidered script. This project provides the perfect balance of instruction and freedom, allowing you to use your creativity to make a really personal item in your own style.

The kit contains everything you need to create a beautiful embroidered postcard, with carefully chosen materials and clear, step by step instructions.

Each kit contains
Instruction sheet with stitch guide
Calico fabric square printed with a blank, vintage postcard design (choose from 4 designs)
A piece of cream backing card
A backing card with peel off adhesive strips.
Spare fabric and paper for practice.
Thread card with :
5 mts each of black cotton pearl in weights 8 and 12
10 x 1mt of coloured 6 stranded cotton.
Heat erasable pen
Needle threader
Sewing thread
2 Embroidery needles
Small selection of old postage stamps.

You may also need :
An embroidery hoop, 7" is best.
Scissors
An iron and/or heat tool
Additional thread and embellishments if desired.
